It is my great pleasure to provide this reference for Ms. Hilda Visser-Scott. My daughter Yung,14 year old, is learning with Hilda for one year more so far. There are too much thanks for Teacher Hilda. Hilda is a very kind, diligent and generous teacher who helps my daughter in many ways and provides a lot of useful music resources when my daughter is in need. Hilda is also a very professional and encouraging teacher that encourages my daughter to participate competitions and give her a lot of courages and support. Also, very thankful to Hilda to understand my daughter and gave her a great chance to have her own piano concert. Hilda loves music , loves piano and loves her students that Hilda holds piano concerts during a year for her students to let her students have great experiences. “Hilda Scott taught piano to my daughters, Ella and Neve, in Canberra, Australia between 2007 – 2009. At the time, my daughters were aged between 9 years old and 13 years old. Hilda is a true professional who encourages her students to strive for excellence while understanding both the technical and emotional ‘feel’ of the piano. My children were inspired by Hilda’s encouragement and dedication, to sit their Australian piano exams while she was their teacher. My youngest daughter, Neve, was awarded a certificate for topping the state (NSW) in one of her exams. I cannot speak highly enough of Hilda as a pianist and a teacher. She is an accomplished performer in her own right and a delightful presence in our girl’s lives. Despite not teaching my daughters for a number of years (because we moved overseas to live in Washington DC), Hilda takes a continued interest in our children’s musical education and remains a friend to us all.
